The Heart of a Youth Leader
The Heart of a Youth Leader is for anyone who wants to help children and young people discover life in all its fullness with Jesus.
Hosted by Andy Castle from Thrive Youth Ministries, each short episode explores the heart behind Christian youth and children’s ministry — offering encouragement, practical wisdom and space to think about why we do what we do.
Whether you’re employed by a church, volunteering each week, or simply passionate about the next generation, this podcast will help you keep Jesus at the centre as you invest in young people.

Over the summer, we are listening back to some of our older episodes and reminding ourselves of God's goodness.
This week's episode was originally released in July'21, just after England lost to Italy in the Euros cup final. In it, Andy thinks about the difference between worldly courage and having a courageous dependence on the Spirit.
'The Heart of a Youth Leader' is a weekly series, aimed at all those who work with children and young people in a church context. Each episode is presented by Andy Castle, CEO & Founder of Thrive Youth Ministries.
